ADR 101: The (Very) Basics of Communities, Collections, Web Forms, and Deposit Workflows
This tutorial is for anyone who will be coordinating and/or creating repository collections and content within the library; anyone who will be working with faculty, students, or departments to set-up non-library managed repository spaces; anyone who has been tasked with support batch ingest or metadata conversion at the library or on campus. This workshop will serve as a knowledge-building foundation for current and future batch ingest work.
ADR 101.5: Adding Elements and Cloning Web Forms (XSDs)
This tutorial provides instructions for adding and configuring elements to existing XSDs, as well as how to create a complete clone of an XSD set to support further customization. Also included in a summary of the ADR's digital information object profile, and how the Fedora repository and Fez repository portal software interact with digital objects.
ADR 102: The Basics of Search Keys, Controlled Vocabularies, and Access Controls
This tutorial builds on “ADR 101: The (Very) Basics of Communities, Collections…” and targets the same audiences, including anyone who will be coordinating and/or creating repository collections and content within the library; anyone who will be working with faculty, students, or departments to set-up non-library managed repository spaces; anyone who has been tasked with supporting batch ingest or metadata conversion at the library or on campus (this workshop will serve as a knowledge-building foundation for current and future batch ingest work.)
ADR 103: The Basics of Batch Ingest
These tutorials use your institution’s staging repository portal. If you don’t already have Administrator/Super Administrator access to the Staging Fez instance, please contact your ADR point of contact. These tutorials are also taught periodically as in-person workshops by ADR staff, contact adr.coalliance.org for more information.
